Re: TCR Ute Pro Cup
Im excited for this. I already have my V8 "ute" painted in a BOC Livery. Next up is the R34 and the Twingo and the Sierra. I just need ideas since I don't want to run the same sponsor over and over again.

well I'll be doing a Norton Hornets paint for the Nissan (surprise surprise) being the only good nissan team in the V8SC...
Sierra will probably be in Ambrose 2004 colours
twingo not a clue, maybe caterham colours (being renault caterham)

I'll run the Norton Livery as your teammate Bradley when it comes around to running the R34!

Twingo may be replaced... thinking Neon SRT4, as there is a few Spec Neon classes in real world racing throughout North and South America. At 590 PI, its much like a TCC car w/o aero.

If you want to keep with the Aussie theme, maybe Supercheap, or 20111-ish Triple 8 Vodafone?
If you want to go the NASCAR route, why not use one of your fave NASCAR liveries?

^ Looks great, but a quick FYI: Skyline will be stock aero. In my opinion, AWD doesn't need much downforce.

Broom, I hope you don't mind, but I used the HRT lion livery that you made for the Vauxhall for my Ute.

Love the BOC Ute mate we'll make an Aussie of you yet. Even got saying Nissan instead of Knee-san. Crikey! how did that get there.

Re: TCR Ute Pro Cup
I posted the Ute schedule a while back, and the tracks feel great for that car. The Skyline has a different challenge... I want all Japanese circuits.
Motegi East
Suzuka East
Motegi Superspeedway (yes, the oval!)
Tsukuba Full
Motegi Full
I am thinking of a new format as well... 6 lap Qualifying (outlap, 4 flyers, cool off lap) then a single 30-40 minute race, with a NASCAR style "competition yellow" one lap shy of halfway. Pitting would be optional, if you pit under safety car, you'd restart behind all that stayed out. The safety car period would be two laps, then a single file restart.
Of course, if you really wanted to, you could pit under green before or after the safety car w/o any penalty. The strategy involved could shake things up, and if you have a bit of damage, you'd be able to fix it w/o falling half a lap behind.
Just a little something different than normal. Any thoughts?

I like that idea mikey. Makes it more interesting where Strategy is involved plus those who have their car set up to work better on fresh rubber have to work their way through the field after the stop where as those who have their car set up to work better on worn tires already have the track position.

Re: TCR Ute Pro Cup
Question
What about implementing a drive through penalty system?
Just drivr a car down pit lane with damage off (so it doesn't stop and refuel) and then add that to the finishing time
(I know that means taking down people's time but all you do is take a photo and then of they get given a drive through by stewards you add it on and adjust points to match that

Then that would throw strategy out the window. Having the optional pit stop would be the best option.
