VM Indycar Series (FM5) Empty VM Indycar Series (FM5)

Post by KaneGR4 Mon Jun 09, 2014 12:32 pm

Virtual Motorsports are presenting an Indycar series on Forza Motorsport 5, a change in shifts restricted me from the V8 Supercar series, but the Indycar series is at a very convenient time of 8pm Thursday Evenings. Which I believe doesn't clash with any TORA series on either game.

It's the same rules that we're all used to, teams of up to 3, top 2 are point scorers for the team. Team mates do NOT have to run the same livery, although I am more than welcome to share mine if you so desire. 32 people are signed up so far, with the first race at Road America this Thursday. Lets establish ourselves at VM.

I would gladly help you out Kilroy but I can't get an open NAT type, good look though.

Unfortunately I can't make either 8pm BST is 3am Friday morning for me. Also XBOX ONE has not returned from repairs so have not even tried the car. Hurricane is always helpful with tuning just send a message. Maybe you could contact ProfMadFatStaxx, Dewey and iTeknix They all have XBOX ONE. Good luck  Cool

I was planning to run as long as possible before pitting, but I started to feel a loss of grip and was dropping a couple of tenths at various places on the track around the mid-point. The guy in front hadn't pitted and I saw a huge gap for clear air so pitted on lap 15, put in a belting outlap & managed to jump him into the lead.

Silverstone Intl. next week which is very difficult in these cars. Need to find a tune that kills off the understeer.

the silverstone track is all about apexs, if you hit them the corners are make-able if not you lose lots of time, gonna be tough to overtake here as off line in corners means you will lose a spot.

Welll round 2 at silverstone and kilroy got himself a 2nd place, d4ninho got 3rd, kilroy finished just under a second behind the leader for 2nd race in a row, a case of always the bridesmaid I think, lol

2nd in the Lobby 2 for the 2nd race in a row, which I believe means I finished 11th overall in both races. I was all over the back of VVV Mav but Silverstone International is not made for overtaking. I had a great chance when I pitted earlier, but got stuck behind another driver who didn't stop & it was for position so I couldn't pull the blue flags rules.

I'm not sure whether I'll make the Le Mans race because I'll be the designated driver for my family who'll be getting drunk because it's someone's birthday Sad

Its gonna be a boring race as its a long lap and not much chance of overtakes, can see ppl taking others out when draft catches them out under breaking though
