Erebus, how'd you like that bit of bumpdraft I gave you on the start of the first race? I know we tandemmed way up the grid, but when I realized I would be in a four wide in the first braking point, I chickened out and fell to the back. On the replay, I bet it looks like we were shot out of a cannon.

It's ok Broom. I figured you were probably tired and needed to sleep. I sent you another tune for Sebring. It's a little less than a sec slower than some of the fast guys.

I understand one of the guys in the B-lobby streamed his race via Twitch? Did anybody see it?

Wasn't happy with Adam watson I drafted him and pulled out to overtake on the inside was side by side with him and he turned down on me hitting my car, then said he was trying to bump draft me! Really hope he doesn't join TASCAR if he thinks thats bump drafting.

I changed my setup for the races went for way more power and was running a second faster!

The bump draft takes practice to get right. Timing is key, but contact angles and speed differentials are also important. Its possible he was trying to bump draft, and failed miserably.

Those of us who've done TASCAR have more experience at it, but I tend to practice it alot in lower class lobbies. Bump drafting can take seconds off a lap at Road America in Spec Miatas.

R.e. team points...

I always used to avoid doing team's championships because it just made more work for me. But it always seemed that most people wanted them. So, starting with Trans Am, I added them in.

My Q: did I make them too complicated? Should I just have both cars get team points? Suggestions???

I thought it would be easier with one car scoring points. It kind of make it unfair if one car dose not make it and 2 cars who finish further down score more points. We Can't call you Darren, D4RR3N. Because we dont who Darren is, but we no whom D4RR3N is. Just kidding if you want us to call you Darren we will. Laughing

I don't mind, I know you mean me anyway. As for bump drafting, it can be effective......when you get it right.

Very unhappy about the new bump drafting rules on TORA that we cant bump draft unless the driver says its ok.

agreed
it's a stupid rule, soon you'll have to ask to draft or over take someone...

so for future reference i give you all permission to bump draft me on the straights unless i am directly behind someone

Sebring should be a little different than Sunset, but I am most looking forward to road Atlanta, Infineon and Sedona.

If you haven't raced on Sedona's oval much, watch what happens in turn two...

Can I team up with an Ax4x driver if anyone has space? It'll most likely just be a one off for me this Friday.

Talk to Windcharger. He's running the 99 Civic.

edit, he's got a teammate. Talk to Chaddy then, as he is in the same 94 Civic that me and Paul are running.  Cool

Hurricane and Broom: I've built a Mazda tune that is hitting 1:27.5s. I'll send it Friday morning a couple hours before race time. It's almost as quick as my Honda.

Nice part is that tune has loads of grip. I had been focusing on speed with the Honda, but found a grip tune that flies, so I basically copied it to the Mazda.

I'm sure Chaddy does have a Honda tune, and I know I have dozens of them, including a couple that I am in the lower 1:27s with. I will send them at approx 5-6P GMT Friday.

I've narrowed down my tunes for Sebring to the one that got me some high 1:26s tonight. I know tubbi and maybe a couple others are quicker, but somehow I have been able to knock almost two secs off my starting point.
