MSA TORA Bathurst 1000 Charity Event
This makes me wish I had the XBone and FM5, as I am a huge V8SC and Bathurst fan, plus its all for a great cause... but since I don't I am promoting the event to other sites, as well as rounding up the Ax4x troops for an entry or few.
Let's see who is "In"...

I may field a car even though I don't have the game. I'll take care of anything behind the scenes, but I don't know how much I could do.

Through GameFAQs, I have found a couple Ax4x members on XB1/FM5: Tired Llama and Liquid Chaos. I hope to drag them into this.

Re: MSA TORA Bathurst 1000 Charity Event
yeah Broom, drive a real car instead of that stupid barely-Holden-together that you drive in the Puma V8s
Re: MSA TORA Bathurst 1000 Charity Event
I would love too Bandit. The only reason I drive Holden is because I drove a Falcon the last time I raced V8's. I'm equal oportunity guy. When was a kid my Dad drove a Holden. My first car was a Holden. My current car is VE Commodore. My best Car That I owned was a 98 Ford Courier 4x4. Loved going off Road and fishing off the beach. Anyway I digress. So yes I would love to Drive a Ford.Bandit1097 wrote:Want to drive the Falcon for my team, Broom?

Put me down for a seat. I'll be down to work that day but as it isn't a contracted day I should have no trouble getting it off.
Any ideas in terms of sponsorship? I was thinking of donating 5p per Km for an Armed Forces Charity, most likely Felix Fund, the bomb disposal charity.

I need to get Staxx in on this, as he too has XBone/FM5.

Aye, in the Falcon? I specifically avoided buying a V8SC for when a V8SC race or championship was run, I wouldn't have the wrong car. Although in time I'll probably end up getting both.

Broomzke and Kilroy, tell me when you guys get done with discussing stints and I'll put in the stint registration for you guys.

I'll do any stints. As timezones may be more of an issue for Broom he can have the pick of the stints.

Right, so that's the stints nailed down. I don't know what the situation is for a paint? Whether it's compulsory for a team to run the same paint. Anyway I did this design a few days ago to kill an hour before my driving lesson.

Liking the paint! You and Broomzke are probably on your own at this point since I'm rather limited on what I can do with the team since I don't have FM5, but let me know if you need me to do something.

So are we officially entered? I haven't even read the rules or anything, should probably go do that now.

Re: MSA TORA Bathurst 1000 Charity Event
Nice one, I clocked a dirty 2:12.3 (It's impossible to gain an advantage by dirtying a lap at Bathurst), I expect to go a bit quicker, perhaps into the 2:11s when my Xbox is back in my bedroom. I sit miles away from the TV down stairs.

Re: MSA TORA Bathurst 1000 Charity Event
you guys know it's compulsory for you to drive the same paint job right?
It's exactly the same as TEC except it's done by laps not time/distance
