LeMons race hosted by Ax4x

Its a one race event, not a series. Most likely on a weekend.

A whole mess of Lemons cars have been added to our garage for further testing. I used MV Short for phase 1 and the times range from 45.8-46.5.

Feel free to try some more cars, esp DLCs. My cosole has very few DLCs on it. Need Vandura, Pinto and Country Squire.

I started a LeMons discussion thread @ TORA. Set for Nov. 2 @ 8p-1a BST.

Need Marshalls to help host and one to cover Live Timing/Google Docs.

I learned in the CT TEC that this needs a team effort and that I need to be a better team leader than Wingnut  

I'll do Google Docs.

So, what are the stints timeslot then? Is it:

Stint 1: 8pm - 9pm
Stint 2: 9:15pm - 10:15pm
Stint 3: 10:30pm - 11:30pm
Stint 4: 11:45pm - 12:45am

^ Pretty much that. If we need to move it back an hour, then we can. And I was thinking 20 minute breaks, to give everyone enough time to get into the lobbies and still take a bathroom/drink/smoke break.

Who wants to team up then? I can do from 10:15pm onwards, as I don't finish work until 10pm on Saturdays. I enjoyed driving the AMC Gremlin

I'd team up with you in the Gremlin.

I'm going to run a Dodge Shelby Omni in this. Anyone wanna team up?

I hit 1:43.5s with a 250+ HP Chrysler PT. Not bad compared to the 1:44.2 I got in the Gremlin or the 1:42.8 I got with a 207HP RX7 Savanna.

Thats the plan. I'll even use the Gremlin but it wouldn't be my first choice. I'll send you a couple tunes to show you what I have found to be quick.

2002 MR-S, 1963 Beetle and 1994 MX-5 Miata are the quickest I tried. Omni the worst sorry Bandit

I'll have a look at the cars tomorrow. To be honest, the Gremlin is the only car I've tried Shelby Omni looks like a Lesbian farmers car, no wonder Bandit likes it

I wish I had saved the replay of my session in the 63 Beetle. I was on two wheels all the way up the esses, then went tumbling when I got to the 90 degree left hander at the top.

Looks like the ball is rolling now, with BG Cowboy & XPR Karma showing interest. Should open sign ups soon I'm fine with any car Mikey.
