Methinks that if we can get it even close to VTA, it could be huge

I did a bit of testing, and am ready to nix the Quattro, but maybe add the RS2 Avant.

Edit: I just looked at Wikipedia for Group A, and found a slightly different car list

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_A

May have to add a Skyline and Supra to get this right proper, as well as a Lancia Delta, 1994 Civic and maybe a Mustang???

I tested all the cars this morning, I stuck to youre guidelines, but found that by adding race tyres it helped get to the 530pi mark! Race brakes, cage, susp, diff, some of the cars only just made it past the 3oobhp mark! after testing with no setup on any car they all average 2.13 on the third lap of nurb gp! The stats don't seem to add up to how close they all seem, with one exception..the merc! To pull that one in a little I had to remove the rear wing completely! Ill keep testing on other tracks! I think with a little advertising this could be a big series because everyone seems to want to race these cars!

I tested a few of teh cars myself last night, and found thet the Ford Sierra, Merc, and R32 Skyline all get around Sedona Club and Iberian pretty good, but the rest of the list were garbage.

The Maseratio Ghibli also is on pace, but was never a touring car. And I am missing the DLCs for the Volvo 850R and Alfa 155.

Ive tested the audi s2 aswell and its just about on pace, ill put all the builds on my sf if ya wanna check em out! And I didn't use a race gearbox in any of the builds. Strange as I found them all to be pretty close on nurb gp! ill test on some other tracks though! One or two of the cars are heavier than the tcc weight rules, but none are lighter. If there was a way to send you msp for the single dlc I would cos ive got just enough for two cars!lol. ill continue on with testing as ive still to test the skyline and supra, mustang and lancia!

Lancia is out. I think that it was a Gr A Rally Car, not Touring Car... and is out of control all of the time.

There was a short lived American Touring Car Championship in 1994. However none of the cars used are in the game.

Nice racing today did the usual run into Hurricane in the first race just to let him know I was there. Second race was better for me except I slowed for a form finish with Hurricane and he passed me. Shame Mikey could not join the battle between Hurricane, Connor and myself. Good Job All round. Had fun. Next time I'll bring a bucket and spade so you can play in the sand Mikey lol. Cool

For Touring Classics, I'd be happy with a smaller carlist. In my opinion, must haves are:

Merc 190 Evo
Ford Sierra
Alfa 155
Volvo 850-R

and if they fit
R32 Skyline
1988 BMW M5

Just enough cars for some variety, but no need to have cars on the list that are horribly offpace.

The carlist for this is stock full of contenders, and surprisingly rather well balanced at leat among the cars that are eitther nonDLC or DLC I own.

Ive done lots of testing and they seem pretty well balanced...ish, if anything the merc is top of the pile and will definitely dominate the speed tracks! At the other end the alfa is slightly down on power but seems to make up for it with the handling! But...that's just my opinion! And I would keep the list as is anyway!

Then a mix of tight twisty bits and pure speed may be in order.

Tsukuba
Mugello
Suzuka East
Hockenheim

and???

I may keep it to four rounds, or add a track we haven't been hitting due to pit glitch: Indy GP.

I want to use tracks that we haven't used in VTA, or the last couple Friday series. Keeps things fresh.

Maybe Sedona Club forward... I hate restarts, and that little chicane causes too many of them.

Did a little bit of testing last night, and the only car totally struggling for me is the M5... so I may try the 635 instead, as it was used for a season as well.

The cars are brutal, especially the first couple laps before the tires get some heat in them. Twisted Evil

Testing last night caused a change in track list...

Cat GP
Hock GP
Mugello GP
Road Atlanta Full

I feel that visiting the full circuits will make the series even more unique compared to proper TCC.

And came up with a new name for the series:
World Touring Masters

On second thought, dropping the World, and just going with "TCR Touring Masters".
