It's exactly the same as TEC except it's done by laps not time/distance

Are you racing in this mate?

I don't think he has an XB1 yet. Shame, I don't think the console looks that appealing to many with the fail of FM5. I expect many more will sell in time for CARS though.

might try and give one of the cars a spin out to try it and see what its like though. This may be a silly question but which car is the better one/the car you guys are using?

The cars I'm entering are using the Falcon and I chose from a random number generator.  Razz

Do we need a third car for this? Already have two entered.

In the interest of balance, should we not consider switching to the Holden? 5 Fords & 1 Holden so far. I'm glad the interest has picked up a bit in this.

If you'd like to change the car, you can.  I just chose the Ford because of the random number generator.

The Holden is pretty brilliant. In my first 5 lap shake down (which I had to complete in free play due to servers being down Rolling Eyes) the Holden felt a lot more stable & handled better. A couple of times I managed to dip into the 2:08.9xx & recorded one of them clean, which is a whole 5 tenths quicker than my time in the Falcon (which I've done about 50 laps in)

If you want the Holden I'm easy, I thought the Holden was better to drive but I did not want to bash the Ford.  Cool

Right, then let's switch to the Holden! It's a joy to drive. Although if that Mercedes was in I'd refuse to drive anything else Razz

I shot out an idea in the CT section of TORA:

A 100 minute support race on FM4 at Laguna Seca in stock V8 Supercars on the Saturday (Feb 22)

I know Erebus has the 1992 AuTCs built, but that would require lots of build/test/tune, and support races seem to work better when they are simple.

^ Not nearly as much as Spec Miata and Star Mazda, with 50+ entries each, opening for ALMS which had 25 entries among the four classes, at Portland.

I ran some laps of Seca in various builds of V8s. I have come to the conclusion that IF we do race the 100 minutes of Laguna Seca support race, we should go with the build that Chaddy and Tubbi used for the last run of TORA V8 Supercars:

Full Tire Width
Race Brakes
Race Driveline
Any Rim style
Full tuning
