Figured out where I was losing all my time. I was way overcooking the entries into most turns. Backed that off a bit and am now comfy in the mid 1:36 range.

I was starting to worry that either the Challenger was too good or the Mustang was just that bad, but no it was me.

I can help as i like doing it, although my connection isn't brilliant so having a backup in my lobby would be a real help.

Methinks that me n Bandit will be borderline to make the A Lobby... I'll have a look at the obvious A Lobby guys for a backup for you, and hoping that I can get Hurricane as a backup B Lobby host in case both me and Bandit somehow make A.

I'll gift is asap Bandit, Although the desert camo that fills the star and hood is locked from the storefront, so I'll have to gift it without.

The desert vinyl is basically covering most of the sides and the whole entire hood.

Looks like this series has a strong chance to succeed if the registration and round one entries are any indication. I hope that as race host I can do my best to keep two happy lobbies and a strong series from start to finish.

Thanks guys for helping me test these cars, and I think we have got a nice level playing field for this one. If any single car had a huge advantage/disadvantage, I'd hope that we would have flushed that out by now.

The fact that pretty much all Ax4x drivers have gone in a different direction on car choice speaks for itself Smile

That went better than expected, thanks to a great support team. A huge thanks and cheers go out to Bandit, Kilroy and Hurricane.

If the next four weeks go near as well as today went, we will have a hit series on our hands, and it wouldn't have gone near as well on my own. Thanks!

Re: Vintage TA Discussion

Post by KaneGR4 on Mon Nov 11, 2013 1:53 pm

After 9 dirty laps on Maple Valley, I finally hit a clean 1:41.669. I'd be very happy if I could just get a 1:41.999 in Qualifying. I expect this to be mid-to-low A lobby pace?

I get on the power too early in the final looping corner, which makes me brush up against the pitwall, not only does it dirty me current and next lap, but I lose a lot of momentum going down the start/finish straight and up the hill. I may dabble with the tune, at the moment it's a stock tune except I'm running full aero on the front.

I spent an hour just to crack 1:42.7s. I know I just have to hit my marks, but I can't seem to find them.

Thinking of the car count, I doubt that we'd have as many if we had run this series elsewhere, and I doubt that season 2 of SEAT's would be as popular either.

It seems that my marks are being put on the inside wall in T1 and the pit wall coming off the last turn. Shocked
