I haven't tried the Mazda in various builds everywhere yet, but can say I really like the Del Sol and Liana... but IMO the Del Sol is girlier than a pink Miata.

After having tested most of the cars with a basic setup my weapon of choice will also be the Mazda. It was my quickest car on 3 out of 4 tracks I will be able to join. Although there were a few cars very close.
Quite funning, because I also tested the Del Sol and Liana and found them both to be dogs... Very Happy Might have been the wrong tuning parts....
Wouldn't mind teaming up with someone if they don't mind I'll only be able to join the first four races.

Hmm, could be that the strongest track for my Del Sol build is the last track on the schedule? And with the odd double points format that Adrian set up, that is the track I tthink I am most focused on. IMO, the Del Sol is great at Infineon, and very good at Maple and Sebring. The Celica is tops at Sunset and Sedona... untouchable at Sedona.

I agree the Celica is untouchable at Sedona. I did manage to get reasonably close (within 0.2 sec) with the Mazda, although it was easy in the Celica and a lot more difficult in the Mazda. At Sunset I was quicker than the Celica with the Mazda, Ford, Civic 1.5 VTi and Civic Si Coupe. The challenge with the Celica is that you have very little PI to play with and it's really slow off the line.... Very Happy
Already loving the series and will enjoy the racing!  cheers

Testing these cars has been interesting to say the least. The fact that there will be no car changes will make some fast at a track or two, while they may struggle elsewhere.

I may enter this (even though its out of the norm for me!) as Fridays @8 are a good fit for me.

I wouldn't mind going as a privateer though as Im really not sure what car id like and would like to have a go at painting it myself. But would one of you guys give me a helping hand with a tune for the car as I'm useless at it?

I'm open for a teammate at the moment. I am pretty sure about wanting the Del Sol, as I have a few tunes build from 170HP @ 2200 lbs, to 199HP @ 2400 and 2500 lbs.

Last night I focused on MV and Sunset... 1:50.teens at Sunset seems pretty good.

May I tram up with you Mikey? I haven't done any testing yet but I'm planning on spending a few hours tomorrow building cars with an emphasis on being light since the great Colin Chapman said "to go faster, just add lightness" and I'm not going to dispute that!!  Smile

Erebus, have you got anything 'lying about' for the marvel theme? As it's a bit of a fun series I think we should make it a fun livery too. :DThe Marvel logo isn't that difficult. Maybe with the some of the small logo's: http :// images4.alphacoders.com/262/262344.jpg (Have to remove the spaces, I'm officially not allowed to post links yet...)

I've yet to decide on a livery, but think that the Del Sol looks better in dark green metallic. It takes the girly out of it a bit.

Maybe using the optional bonnet with the 'airscoop' helps also? Very Happy I assume it's allowed as it's non-adjustable?

I'm using the optional "Honda" nose, and aftermarket side ground effects and rear bumper, and removed the stock wing for most, and the huge aftermarket rear wing for grip.
